Motion Graphics: Animated Graphic

For this particular project we had to use a scanned image that we brought into class and by using Photoshop first, I needed to separate the image into multiple layers then take all of the image layers and bring them into After Effects. Using the many tools in After Effects I was able to show depth in a flat image by using lighting and making each layer a 3D. After I placed the images in the position I wanted them In, I animated the scene. The texture of the logo helped give a sense of grimeyness in the animation. What I really liked with the texture is it gave this piece a russian propaganda poster look to it, which makes this animated logo even more interesting to watch.
